At Johns Dentistry, we are grateful for community organizations that provide much-needed services to individuals and to other groups. We have partnered with and sponsored a number of events throughout the community and we encourage everyone else to reach out as well, to do what you can to help others during the upcoming holidays and every day of the year!
Our team has been part of the change, helping to promote the need for oral cancer screenings and supporting the Komen Race for the Cure – Upper Cumberland. We give back by supporting Susan G. Komen in their efforts to fuel the best science, boldest community, and biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer.
You can show your support in the community by volunteering and by participating in area events like these:
- Harleys in Whoville – December 17, 2017. For something a little different this holiday season, enjoy this “parade of motorcycles riding for a reason.” The event benefits the Cookeville Police Department charity programs!
- A Woman’s Heart – February 1, 2018. This event promises to be “an evening of fun and fashion including heart-healthy foods, a silent auction, and life-saving information about heart-health, especially for women.” Proceeds from this event go to Foundation’s Heart Fund, which assists a wide variety of cardiac patients from the Upper Cumberland.
- Helping out during the holidays and throughout the year. Many community organizations, such as the Cookeville Rescue Mission, appreciate donations and volunteer assistance during the holiday season as well as the rest of the year!
The staff of Johns Dentistry believes in giving back, in supporting the community that supports us. We encourage everyone in Cookeville and the surrounding areas to reach out to those in need throughout the community and to do what you can to help.
